St. Paul's Mission Chhibramau

The centre at Chhibramau was started in 1984 in a rented building in the town where the Sisters belonging to the Congregation of the Little Servants of Divine Providence ran a house for mentally retarded children. In 1985 a plot was bought and the necessary building constructed and the centre was shifted to the new house. The mission runs a Hindi medium Primary School for the benefit of the poor. This area is notorious for dacoity and criminal activities. The mission on several occasions was targeted by dacoits. The centre also has a clinic run by the Sacred Heart Sisters.
