St. Joseph's Church Dibyapur(NTPC)
HISTORY

St. Joseph’s Church (NTPC) Dibyapur had its origin in the year 1989. Those days Fr. Issac Kochupura, the Manager of St. Mary’s School, Etawah used to visit Christian families at Dibyapur. Being urged by the Christian families and NTPC authorities, they started staying in temporary quarters and offered Mass in the NTPC Colony. The authorities were so happy that they asked them to start a school in the township. At present the Church community in NTPC has developed having around 40 Catholic families. Fr. Francis Maniparampil is the Parish Priest and the CMC Sisters teach in the school and are also involved in every day activities in the Church. The School is Senior Secondary with more than 1200 students from KG to Class XII. Literacy programme in the nearby villages and a Centre for National Open Schooling for Secondary and Senior Secondary levels are the outstanding programmes the school has taken up.
